CASA of Southwest Missouri is gearing up for its annual Older Youth Resource Fair, scheduled for October 9 at the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine Mosque. This event aims to provide essential resources and support for older youth currently in foster care, helping them transition into adulthood with the necessary tools and connections.
The fair will feature a variety of local organizations and service providers dedicated to assisting youth in foster care. Attendees can expect to find information on education, employment opportunities, housing, healthcare, and life skills training. In addition to valuable resources, the event will also offer workshops and activities designed to empower these young individuals as they navigate the challenges of growing up in the foster care system.
Community members, foster parents, and youth advocates are encouraged to attend and support this important initiative. By fostering connections and providing critical information, CASA hopes to enhance the lives of older youth in foster care and help them build a brighter future.
