Christina Haack says the key to successfully co-parenting with her ex-husbands is not as complicated as people might think. The HGTV star, who shares children with both Tarek El Moussa and Josh Hall, revealed that she simply puts her own feelings aside to focus on what is best for the kids.
In a recent interview, Haack explained that she works directly with her exes and their new partners to create a stable environment. She emphasized that it takes a team effort from everyone involved. "It takes all of us," she said, noting that personal disagreements have to take a back seat when raising children across different households.
Haack admitted that the process is not always easy, but she believes keeping the children's emotional well-being as the top priority makes the decision-making simpler. She also stressed the importance of including new spouses and partners in family events and communication. By doing so, she hopes to show her children that they are loved and supported by a larger family network, not just by their parents separately.
The approach, she said, requires maturity and a willingness to forgive past conflicts. Rather than holding onto resentment, Haack chooses to collaborate for the sake of birthdays, school events, and holidays. Her message is clear: co-parenting works best when adults stop focusing on their own egos and start focusing on the kids.
