Kandi Burruss' Ex-Husband Todd Tucker Gets Real About Co-Parenting Loneliness - Says He Travels To Avoid Feeling Lost

Todd Tucker, the ex-husband of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss, is getting candid about the emotional challenges of co-parenting after divorce. In a recent interview, Tucker admitted that the transition has been harder than he expected, specifically citing feelings of loneliness when his children are not with him.

Tucker, who shares daughter Blaze and son Ace with Burruss, revealed that he has started traveling frequently to cope with the quiet and emptiness he feels at home. "I travel to avoid feeling lost," he explained, noting that an empty house can be a painful reminder of the family unit that once was. He described the experience as a "rollercoaster" where the highs of having his kids are followed by deep lows when they return to their mother.

The reality star and producer said he is actively looking for advice on how to better navigate this phase of life. He emphasized that while he and Burruss maintain a strong co-parenting relationship for the sake of their children, the personal adjustment of living alone after years of marriage is a struggle many divorced parents face but rarely discuss openly. Tucker's honesty sheds light on the often-unspoken emotional toll that shared custody can take on fathers.
