Kylie Kelce is opening up about the one parenting rule she and her husband, former NFL star Jason Kelce, rely on to keep their household running. With four daughters under the age of seven, the couple has learned that consistency is key. The rule is simple: the word "no" is not negotiable.
In a recent interview, Kylie explained that she and Jason are firm believers in setting clear boundaries. "Our kids know the word no," she said. "We don't cave. We don't negotiate with a toddler." The couple's daughters are Wyatt, six, Elliotte, five, Bennett, two, and Finnley, who is just 13 months old.
Kylie admitted that sticking to the rule is not always easy, especially when dealing with multiple young children at once. But she emphasized that it helps create a sense of structure and respect in their home. "If you say no, you have to mean it," she added. "Otherwise, they learn that they can just push until you give in."
The Kelce family has been in the spotlight since Jason retired from the Philadelphia Eagles, but Kylie said their parenting approach remains grounded. She noted that while they try to give their kids choices when possible, certain things are non-negotiable. "They know that no means no, whether it's about bedtime, snacks, or safety," she said.
Kylie also shared that she and Jason make a point to back each other up in front of the kids. "We are a united front," she said. "If one of us says no, the other one doesn't come in and say yes five minutes later." For the Kelces, that consistency is what makes the rule work.
