The first three years of a child’s life bring both joy and stress. To help parents and caregivers navigate these challenges and provide infants with a strong foundation, a new webinar series has been launched. The “Thrive Initiative: Take Root” series is a collaborative effort between Penn State Extension’s food, families, and communities unit and the Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness at Penn State.
This informative series is designed to address various aspects of parenting, from pregnancy through the crucial early years of a child’s development. The webinars will cover essential topics such as infant care, early childhood development, nutrition, and effective parenting strategies. By equipping parents and caregivers with knowledge and practical skills, the initiative aims to foster healthy family environments that support both physical and emotional well-being.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts, ask questions, and connect with other parents facing similar challenges. This initiative is a valuable resource for those seeking guidance during the transformative journey of parenthood.
