In an effort to combat youth crime, Sheriff Lott is set to lead a series of informational parenting sessions in the Midlands from March 3 to March 5. These sessions aim to equip parents with the tools and knowledge necessary to address and prevent criminal behavior among youth in the community.
The initiative comes in response to growing concerns about juvenile delinquency and its impact on families and neighborhoods. Sheriff Lott emphasizes the importance of parental involvement in guiding children towards positive choices and away from crime. During the sessions, parents will learn effective communication strategies, conflict resolution skills, and ways to foster a supportive home environment.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in discussions about the challenges faced by today’s youth and how to navigate them effectively. By fostering a collaborative approach between law enforcement and families, Sheriff Lott hopes to strengthen community ties and promote a safer environment for all residents. This proactive initiative underscores the critical role that parents play in shaping the future of their children and the community at large.
